Storming

It's been non-stop rain since I arrived in Southern California, five days ago.  As I type this from my parent's dining room, I witness a downpour beyond the adjacent sliding glass doors.  It's wild!  And dangerous.  I'm reading lots about flooding and landslides here.  I am feeling a little stir crazy.  If it lets up (even just a little!) I'm planning to throw on a slicker, harness the dog and hop on my sister's bike.
