Mobile Art

Isn’t this just the prettiest mobile?  The colors, materials and composition are absolute perfection!

Brooklynite Jen Kelly did a series of them based on a summer spent in rural northern Wisconsin.  The one-of-a-kind beauty pictured here is made of found objects; driftwood picked up on the shores of Lake Superior and cut shapes from bronze tinted, mirrored glass.  Kelly describes herself as, “An artist trying out some design stuff”.

Visit her Etsy store, Things Together to shop for more mobiles (or jewelry!!!)  To purchase this mobile visit The Shiny Squirrel’s shop here.  And, while you’re there, explore other great objects by emerging designers.  It’s a great place to find special, hand-crafted holiday gifts!
