The explosion of food trucks in NYC is officially out of control. They're every where. There are so many that they can't all find parking. Seriously. Have you read about it? It's crazy. There are literally 3-4 in front of my office everyday at lunch hour. I saw one yesterday that serves Maine lobster! High end, yo. Of course Mr Softie was across the street. Lowest end.
But I digress. What I really wanted to share is this lovely Brooklyn wedding, found on 100 Layer Cake. Amy and Michael chose The Green Building in Carroll Gardens for their ceremony and celebration. While the venue is absolutely idyllic in size and style, it does lack a kitchen. Enter food trucks (Schnitzle & Things, Country Boys and Rickshaw Dumpling to be specific). I love this elegant meets casual, modern meets rustic feeling. So pretty!
P.S. All the flowers were home grown, planted by both families in the fall and harvested the week of the wedding. 500 tulips, isn't that awesome?!!!
