Remember my sweet-treat entry on last week's FfF?  Choco-hazel-ocado amaze-pants cake.  Wowzers.  Yeah, intense.

Well I just found it's cousin: pudding.  Vegan.  Cholesterol free.  Full of healthy dark chocolate goodness and body nourishing fats (avocado & coconut).  Yumzer-zees!

Matisse For Monday

Post Nemo weekend and all's well.  Friday was sort of nutz-o but I had an incredible weekend... checked out two local watering wells: Post Office and Dram. Dinned at Zizi Limona (amaze-derful sangria) and brunched at Roebling Tea Room and Landmarc.  Saw the Matisse show at the MET.  Hiked a snowy Central Park with my cousin.  Chilled out with friends in their cozy apartment (with this view!!!) and watched this movie (finally) then baked cookies.  : )  

Now NYC is washing the snow away with buckets of rain.  It's a busy week for me, work-wise and personally.  I'll try to check in as often as possible, chickens!  Chat with you soon!

Herro guys!  The week is winding down.  I've got a busy weekend planned.  Going to a lecture tonight, a double-birthday bash on Saturday, building some shelves and painting the apartment, tackling taxes and some illustration projects.  Then Sunday is... brunch with another birthday girl.  Did you think I was going to mention football.  Ha.  No.  Not to offend, but there are about a million-zillion better uses of my time.

Pre Fall 2013/ Nina Ricci

I was doing some research yesterday.  Filtering back through the Pre Fall read to wear shows.  Somehow I missed Nina Ricci.  Such a shame... but discovery is better late than never!  The show is French day to night at it's best: all thrown together, playful and a little sultry.  Splashy colors plus some dusty makeup hues and a good wash of black.  Love.
